World's cheapest expensive stove

Two weeks ago I found something absolutely amazing at a yard sale a half block away. A very nice lady was selling her old gas range, because she had just remodeled her kitchen.

It's a 1950s era stove, with a big steel griddle in the middle. It's been recently inspected, gas-wise, but needs some electrical work to be fully up and functional. As it stands though, you could hook it up to a gas line and it would work.

Soda and bean can garden bubbler

Hit the thumbnails for step by step instructions.

I've long been in need of a bubbler to diffuse water flow. They're great for watering, because you can turn the hose way up and it will fill a contained bed really quickly without digging a hole.

I don't know where to buy them these days though, and then realized I could pretty easily make one myself.

It works like a charm, and is made from trash, which is about as cheap as things get.
